📅 November 3, 10 & 17 + December 1
⏰ 6:30–8:30 PM

The Dash:
• Two hours to play four games each night
• Play more than four? Your top four scores count
• All four weeks add up to determine our Holiday Dash winner, announced December 1

Holiday Dash Prizes:

🥇 1st Place: Choice of Holiday Tile Set + Choice of Holiday Mat
🥈 2nd Place: Choice of Holiday Mat
🥉 3rd Place: Holiday Cheer Bundle — Choice of Holiday Shufflers + Holiday Ornament

And because it’s the season of giving… ❤️

November 3, 10 & 17: Bring a non-perishable food item for the North Texas Food Bank.

December 1: Bring an unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots.

Donations are completely optional. Just bring yourself, your game face, and your love of Mahj! Let the Holiday Dash begin! Come “sleigh” those tiles!

Ready to put your skills to the test?

The Mahjong League at Where Dragons Play is a competitive league designed for players who love friendly competition, consistent weekly play, and building community around the mahjong table.

Whether you're looking to sharpen your game, make new friends, or see your name at the top of the leaderboard, League is the perfect way to take your mahjong experience to the next level. To create the best player experience and keep tables balanced throughout the season, participation is limited to just 24 players.

Who Should Join?

League is designed for players who are already comfortable playing American Mahjong independently.

This is a competitive league, so participants should be able to:

• Read the NMJL card independently
• Build and exchange hands without assistance
• Keep play moving at a comfortable pace
• Understand standard American Mahjong rules and etiquette

If you're brand new to mahjong, we'd love to have you join one of our Mahjong 101 lessons before signing up for League!

Attendance

League is most fun when everyone is there each week!

If you know you'll miss a League Night, you're welcome to send a substitute player in your place.

Please note:

• Substitutes help keep the tables balanced but do not earn points for themselves.
• The registered League player will not receive attendance or game points for any week they are absent, even if a substitute plays in their place.

Because standings are based on weekly participation and performance, consistent attendance is encouraged.

Registration

Registration is limited to 24 players and will close once all spots are filled.

If space remains available, registration will close on October 27, 2026, one week before League begins, to allow time for table assignments and scheduling.
